<image:title>Hazardous Waste - TCLP Data</image:title>
<image:caption>The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) established US federal laws for the disposal of wastes. RCRA requires that industrial waste streams and other wastes must be characterized following protocols laid out in SW-846. TCLP is one of these tests. TCLP data is used to determine whether a waste may be accepted into the landfill. If TCLP analytical results are below the TCLP D-list maximum contamination levels (MCLs) the waste can be accepted. If they are above these levels the waste must be taken to a hazardous waste disposal facility. In addition to TCLP a waste considered hazardous if it exhibits any of the following characteristics: reactivity, corrosivity and ignitability (RCI). American Testing Technologies, Inc. has the capabilities to analyze and determine if your sample is hazardous or not. TCLP and RCI determination are performed in accordance with EPA SW-846 Method 1311,1010,section 7.3.3 and section 7.3.4 . <image:caption>The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act ( RCRA ) establishes the authority to regulate underground storage tanks ( UST ). Monitoring underground storage tanks for leaks is an ongoing process. The deadline to upgrade older tanks to new federal requirements as specified in 40 CFR 280 has long since passed. However, many tanks in the United States have yet to be upgraded or closed. Many states continue to modify existing analytical methods, American Testing Technologies, Inc. continues to track new development in UST monitoring and responds with offering these methods. We have extensive experience in analyzing samples from different states for the use in site assessments, underground storage tanks closure, property transfer, bioremediation, and contamination/remediation projects. The following is a list of methods that we are offering:</image:caption>

The focus is not just with end-of-pipe, but also with eliminating or reducing the formation of these pollutants at the source. American Testing Technologies, Inc. has extensive experience in support of environmental programs for the pulp and paper industry. Routine analyses include Cluster rule and NCASI analysis for the MACT rule for Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs). We offer the following testing:</image:caption>

In this method, a water sample is oxidized, purged onto a gold trap, then the mercury is thermally desorbed from the gold trap into a cold vapor atomic fluorescence spectrometer. We can achieve a detection limit of 0.05 ng/l (ppt). We also offer low-level mercury sampling via EPA method 1669.</image:caption>

      <image:title>RoHS Compliance - WEE & rOHS</image:title>
<image:caption>Flame Retardants (WEE & ROHS) Directives For Electrical and Electronic Equipment Manufacturers: The WEE directive mandates the collection, re-use, re-cycling and energy recovery of electrical and electronic equipment at the end of its useful life. This will prevent such waste from going to a landfill. The ROHS directive seeks to eliminate the presence of certain hazardous substances in the environment and specifically in electrical equipment that will be treated and recycled at end of life. It does this by restricting the presence of these substances in equipment that will be sold after July 2006 to level below specified maximum concentration values. American Testing Technologies,Inc. is the number one choice for your RoHs compliance needs, we provide accurate testing for Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, Mercury, Lead, Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB) and Polybrominated Diphenylethers (PBDE).</image:caption>
